Rapid Realty

Rapid Realty is the name I give to my real-estate Listing Solutions in part designed and developed using Open-Realty® Software by Transparent Technologies Inc.

There are a number of online real-estate listing solutions available today a number of which are good and good number of which are free. So it may surprise you that I chose to develop my real-estate Listing Solution using retail software?

And the reason is very simple; freeware is ultimately a community project, ideal for developers and hobby-techies who enjoy developing their own thing and tinkering-under-the-hood with their final solution. But many of my customers, being sole-traders, partners and small businesses, have other things to do with their time and need something simple, effective and well supported by a developer committed to excellent customer service.

So long as their real-estate listing solution is fast and effective and works for their customers they are more interested in how easy their site is to operate than it was to develop; time saved adding, editing and managing property listings and recording and following-up leads on a rolling basis is much more valuable to them than a few pounds spent on a non-recurring license. Which is where the free solutions often fall-down, in terms of usability for both customer and service.

But there's more to real-estate than merely listing content online whether it be property for sale or to rent; real-estate professional need to market widely, follow up quickly and remain well organised in order to succeed.
