Oh how I could go on and on about ExpressionEngine, but let's just say this: "I speak ExpressionEngine every day".
I started developing Content Management System¹ websites using EllisLab code back in the pMachinePro days, around 2005. And since then I have developed countless ExpressionEngine sites for clients around the world; making it easy and painless for them to update and maintain their web presence.
Note¹ - I've designed, built, developed, hosted and support sites from simple blogs, through images galleries, forums and wiki's; sites that grow with the changing needs of my customers and scale with the growing demands of theirs.

Having been exposed to any number of customer service experiences during my time as an hotelier, in the wider software industry and as a user and developer of commercial software solutions I've learnt a thing or two about good customer service, and good customer service software. And my experience led me to use, recommend then install, develop and host Helpspot customer service software by Userscape.

Apple Mac Services
Currently my Apple Mac Services are limited to Mac OSX Server Administration and co-location hosting.
I can offer Mac OSX co-location services in the UK and USA in English and in Canada for both English and French speaking clients. My Canadian server centre supports both Mac Mini and XServe hardware though naturally the materially larger footprint of XServer servers means that they cost exponentially more to host.
Mac Mini co-location is a very cost effective way to provide secure, dedicated resources to small to medium-sized business especially those operating in highly regulated businesses such as finance and investments. Mac Mini's can be configured as online file servers, email hosts and as full blown web-servers. They can be configured to run solely desktop operating systems (Leopard or Snow Leopard), with additional software such as Dovecot email hosting or Tenon iTools, or Apple's unlimited client license OSX Snow Leopard Server software.
Snow Leopard Server services are Windows® and Apple® Mac compatible and recommended for many situation where low operating cost/maintenance overheads and mission-critical performance are essential…
Web Hosting
With the quality and security of website software improving all of the time the need for dedicated, optimal server hosting becomes ever more paramount.
And with Google's latest algorithms placing an increased emphasis on the speed and responsiveness of server and code the sense of hosting attractive, commercial websites on lowest-common-denominator shared hosting becomes ever more tenuous.
Faced with the challenge of creating an optimal environment for the website software I wanted to concentrate on, from ExpressionEngine through Open-Realty®, CubeCart and Helpspot I struggled from one host to another as I was impacted by limitations of their service or changes they subsequently and arbitrarily imposed. No more, I decided, and went Dedicated.
My dedicated server space is managed by Surpass Hosting in Class 1 data centres located in either the UK and USA. The configurations of which are optimised to meet the changing environmental and security needs of the website software I run on them.
Please note that I only accept hosting clients for Exp:engineering, Rapid-Realty, Cube-Smart and Helpspot hosting solutions that I provide, though the use of my servers and support is not mandated in my terms of service.
All of my hosting accounts are fully accessible to clients via cPanel, software updates and changes are made as required by their respective authors and the efficacy of the servers is ensured by Surpass' engineers 24/7/365.
SEO & SEM
Whilst I strive at all times to ensure compliant (X)HTML and CSS code and to disambiguate the language used in the build, it is a simple fact of life that as client content is added the purity of any site is hard to sustain.
Ensuring that all content includes both "clean" code and disambiguated language and that the model for marketing across multiple channels remains robust is an ongoing task which includes both control, intervention and monitoring on an ongoing basis.
My process for achieving this, previously called Web Wide Winners, relies upon a number of tools to constantly measure and monitor the visibility and performance of your Exp:Engineering, Rapid-Realty, Cube-Smart or Helpspot website across all distribution channels and between all partner sites (previously called "Advanced Link Management").
Because so many of the parameters relevant to optimal performance of websites in the current SEO climate are server and code dependent I can only offer SEO & SEM services to clients publishing websites on servers that I manage. The cost of the service therefore includes all work necessary to both achieve and maintain the stated performance objectives.
